MACON, Ga. - Jacksonville's Natasha Harvey met a pair of regional qualifying marks this weekend at the LSU Alumni Gold in winning the Atlantic Sun Conference Women's Outdoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week award, the conference announced on Wednesday.

Harvey, a junior from New Haven, Conn., becomes the second Jacksonville athlete to win the weekly award this season.

The A-Sun's two-time defending champion in the long jump, Harvey turned in a leap of 21-02.00 (6.45m), good enough for a third-place finish in the event and a No. 7 national ranking. She joins teammate Shaquania Lundy as one of two Dolphins ranked in the top 10 nationally, both of whom qualified for regionals.

Harvey also satisfied a regional qualifying standard in the 100-meter hurdles, an event in which she is also a two-time defending A-Sun champion. Her time of 13.72 placed tenth at LSU.
