MACON, Ga. - Elizabeth Maxwell of Gardner-Webb took home her second Atlantic Sun Conference Women's Outdoor Track and Field honor of the season after registering three top-three performances at Clemson’s Solid Orange Classic this weekend, the conference announced on Wednesday.

Maxwell, a native of Johnsonville, S.C., set a new school record in the discus after a toss of 133-02.00 (40.59m). The record-breaking effort by the senior biology major resulted in a second place finish. Maxwell also finished second in the hammer throw with a 155-02.00 (46.33m) fling.
