MACON, Ga. - Campbell's Ana Surviladze extended her singles-match winning streak to six this past week with a 3-0 effort from her No. 4 position, and on Friday the conference office honored her with her first career Player of the Week award. This is the fourth weekly honor awarded to Campbell this season, and Surviladze is the third different Camel to receive the prize.
The sophomore has won six-straight singles matches after her 3-0 week that included straight set victories against Karen Bellman of Mercer, Winthrop's Lisa Wilkinson and Hampton's Jannelle Small. The Albuquerque, N.M. native was also 1-1 in doubles action as the Camels went 2-1 on the week.
