MACON, Ga. - Campbell's Blanca Saenz went 3-1 in four matches last week, upping both her singles and doubles dual-match records to 5-1. Her victories helped the Camels extend their winning streak to three, and on Friday she won her first career Atlantic Sun Player of the Week Award the conference office announced.
The sophomore went 2-0 in singles action for the week, defeated Christina Ruffin 6-1, 6-1 at number-two in CU's 7-0 sweep of North Carolina A&T, and later in the week dropped Kelly Tolman 4-6, 6-4, 6-3 at number-two as CU defeated High Point 6-1. The business administration major also teamed with Scarlett Alfonzo to earn an 8-6 victory at number-one doubles against High Point's Kelly Tolman and Caroline Mount.

Raphael Jann, Lipscomb (Jr. – Mass Communication/Political Science) – Defeated Erin Fulkerson of Western Kentucky 6-3. 6-2. She teamed in No. 2 doubles with Claire Landry to beat Brittany Waiz and Krystal Brown from Western Kentucky in doubles, 8-1.
Linda Johansson, Belmont (Sr. – Mass Communications) - Helped Belmont to a 2-1 record for the week, with wins over Evansville and Southern Illinois.
Anna Novo, USC Upstate (Jr. – Information Management) - Became the seventh player in school history to reach 90 combined wins with her 8-3 win over Presbyterian's Abby Diminich and Virginia Waldron at No. 1 doubles with freshman partner Emilia Milovanovic.
