MACON, Ga. - UNF and The Citadel face off in this week’s A-Sun Women’s Soccer Game of the Week at 1:00 p.m. Sunday at Hodges Stadium. The contest between the Ospreys and Bulldogs broadcasts live on ASunTV.

The match concludes the UNF Hampton Inn Ponte Vedra Showcase. The matchup features two high scoring teams as UNF leads the Atlantic Sun in goals per game at 2.00 while The Citadel boasts an impressive 3.80 goals per game. The bench has spearheaded the UNF offensive attack scoring as six of the Ospreys’ 14 goals on the season have come from players without a start. Michele Larrinaga leads this attack with four goals on the season all in substitute performances. The Citadel racked up 18 goals in its first two games but since then has only found the net once in its last three matches. Since being shut out by Florida Tech to open the season, the UNF attack has found the net in each of its last six games.

UNF goalkeeper Rachael Howard figures to play a key role in shutting down The Citadel’s high-powered offense. In the Ospreys’ two wins, Howard has allowed a combined one goal while in their four losses she has allowed 10 shots to find the net. UNF’s Katelin Swift enters the weekend tied for the A-Sun lead in points (12) and goals (five). She looks to add to her 2009 totals against a team that has allowed six goals in its last three games.
