JU's Zwikker Named to ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District Team

Not only is senior forward Keri Zwikker a force to be reckon with on the field, but she is also a force in the classroom after being named ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District Third team on Monday.

The Woodstock, Ontario native posted a 3.85 GPA as an exercise science major to earn the honor for the second year in a row.

"It is a great honor for Keri to be recognized for her hard work on and off the field," said JU head coach Brian Copham. "She is a tremendous leader with an incredible work ethic and I think this award is recognition of that. I am happy for her and the honor she has received."

On the field in 2008, Zwikker lead the team in goals (9), assists (6) and points (24). Her goals total is fourth in the A-Sun, while her points tally ranks second in the conference.

Zwikker ranks second in goals (49), assists (24) and points (122) for her JU career. She is only one of two JU players to score more than 40 goals for her career and her goal tally is the highest among all active A-Sun players over the last four years.
