Baer earns spot on Team of the Week

MACON, Ga. - After taking home Player of the Week, Rachel Baer earned a spot on the Soccer Buzz Magazine Elite Team of the Week.
On the weekend, Rachel Baer shined, scoring five goals, three of which came on Sunday against North Florida. The senior forward currently leads the conference in shots (43), points (20), points per game, goals (9) and goals per game. Her play last weekend earned her Player-of-the-Week accolades and she currently ranks 29th in the nation in goals per game.
Kennesaw State showed what they were made of last weekend, defeating Jacksonville 4-0 and North Florida 5-1, leaving them with a 2-1-1 A-Sun mark. The Owls 7-3-3 overall record has earned them a spot in the Soccer Buzz Magazine Southeast Region Rankings at No. 15.
Currently in third place, the Owls look to move up in the Atlantic Sun Conference standings when they take on Belmont and Lipscomb this weekend in Nashville, Tenn.
