MACON, Ga. - UNF's Katelin Swift's pair of game-winning goals earned her the Women's Soccer Player of the Week award. Boomie Luck pitched her second shutout of the season in Campbell's conference opener against Lipscomb to pick up Defensive Player of the Week, the conference office announced on Monday.

Swift, a junior, guided the Lady Ospreys to a 2-0 start in A-Sun play, netting the game-winner in both matches of the weekend. The education major from Jacksonville, Fla., scored both UNF goals in the conference opener against USC Upstate after scoring a goal in the team's only loss of the week, a 3-2 decision to NC State.

Luck, a physical education major, led the defense this week as Campbell picked up a pair of victories. She started the week off by playing spectacular in a 2-1 win against Gardner-Webb that included some phenomenal saves to preserve the win. On Thursday, the sophomore from Thomasville, N.C., pitched her second shutout of the season to win the conference opener against Lipscomb.

The Lady Ospreys will visit Mercer on Friday before facing Kennesaw State two days later.

Campbell hosts FGCU on Thursday before opposing Stetson on Saturday.

Kacie Hudson, Mercer (So. - D - Marietta, Ga. - Undeclared) - Hudson helped the Bears kick off their A-Sun season in style, scoring two goals (one with each foot) from her defensive position to help the Bears to a 3-0 win over Stetson on Friday night. It was the first multi-goal performance for Hudson, who would finish with a game-high three shots and three shots on goal. She continued to excel on the defensive end as well, helping anchor a defense that went 404:22 minutes of play without allowing a goal, before finally conceding a late equalizer to Florida Gulf Coast on Sunday. The Bears recorded their fourth clean sheet of the season, shutting out Stetson on Friday night. Hudson would also make a game-saving play against FGCU on Sunday, sprinting to catch Lindsay Haw and make a vital tackle as Haw squared to shoot after she had gotten in behind the Mercer defense for a breakaway opportunity.

Jamie Loftis, Belmont (Fr. - MF/D - Hermitage, Tenn. - Education) - Rookie Loftis led the Belmont women's soccer offensive effort last week. The Hermitage, Tenn., native notched her second and third goals of the season against Campbell to give the Bruins their second consecutive A-Sun victory. Against Lipscomb, she logged the gamewinning assist. Loftis started and played in both matches, logging 133 minutes. She is now second on the team in goals scored (3) and points (7).

Kaili Terry, Campbell (So. - F – Carrollton, Texas. - Exercise & Sports Science) - Campbell went 2-1 this week with victories over Gardner-Webb and Lipscomb behind three goals from Kaili Terry. Terry scored a first half goal in the 2-1 win over Gardner-Webb to put the Camels up 1-0. She followed that up by scoring the only goal of the game in the Camels 1-0 win over Lipscomb. She tallied her third goal in three games on Saturday when she put the Camels ahead 1-0 in the 11th minute.

A-Sun Weekly Notes

Campbell: Campbell finished a strong week with two victories including a win in the conference opener against Lipscomb. Kaili Terry led the offensive charge for the Camels as she recorded a goal in each of the three games this week. The Camels defeated former conference foe Gardner-Webb 2-1 on Monday night before defeating Lipscomb 1-0 on Thursday afternoon. Boomie Luck was solid between the pipes this week as she recorded her second shutout of the season.

Kennesaw State: The Owls are off to their worst start in conference history with a 0-1-1 mark. Rachel Baer was the only Owl to connect on goals, tallying three over the weekend while Caroline Austin picked up her 7th assist.

Lipscomb: After playing four games in seven days last week Lipscomb coach Jon Ireland decided to give his players Friday, Saturday and Sunday off. The Lady Bisons gave up the tying goal against Belmont Sept. 23 and the game-winning goal to Campbell Sept. 25 in the final 10 minutes of play. Brandi Besheres, Kate Spellman and Halie Proffitt each have scored three goals for the Lady Bisons this season.
