MACON, Ga. Kennesaw State seniors Rebecca Hall and Mandy Nolin swept the final Atlantic Sun weekly womens soccer honors after leading the Owls to a dominant performance in their final regular season contest and extending the teams unbeaten streak to 14 matches heading into the posteason.
Nolin saved her best performance of 2006 for Senior Night. The forward notched her first career hat trick as she helped the Owls to a 7-0 shutout of Tennessee Tech on Senior Night last Friday. Her first goal came 21 minutes into the match and was a rocket to the lower left corner to give the Lilburn, Ga., native her third game-winner of the season. Just before being lifted for the remainder of the seniors to play in their final regular season home match, Nolin tallied her third goal off a beautiful give-and-go just inside the penalty area. Nolin majors in Exercise & Health
Hall continues to anchor the impressive Kennesaw defense. The Windsor, England native tallied her fifth goal of the season in the Owls' 7-0 shutout of Tennessee Tech on Senior Night last Friday. Her goal came in the 78th minute as she headed in a gorgeous cross from six yards out. Defensively, Hall helped the Owls to their fourth clean sheet in as many games as she played the final regular season home match of her career. Hall majors in Sports Management.
