MACON, Ga. – FGCU's Shannen Wacker and Kennesaw State's Melissa Hutto picked up their first career Atlantic Sun Women's Soccer Weekly Awards, announced Monday by the league office. Wacker netted the game-winning goal vs. FIU, while Hutto guided the Owls to a 1-0 win at Arkansas with six saves.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Shannen Wacker, FGCU (F – So. – Parker, Colo. – Science)
- First Career Atlantic Sun Player of Week
- Scored game-winner to defeat FIU on Friday
- Her goal in the 63rd minute was her second of the season
- The goal moved FGCU to 3-1-1 on the season
- Marked the third game-winner of her career
