ETSU's Knox Earns Last Athlete of the Week Award

Macon, Ga. -- Earning the final weekly award of the indoor track season, ETSU's
Jenny Knox was named Atlantic Sun Athlete of the Week today by the conference
office.
Knox won the 200-meters at the Liberty Record bash in 25.57 for her first career
title. She topped 21 athletes from eight other institutions, including two teammates.
The Connelly Springs, N.C. native was also the second place collegiate finisher
in the 60-meter dash, taking third overall with a time of 7.80. Knox turned
in the top collegiate time with a personal best 7.76 in the prelims.
The Atlantic Sun Athlete of the Week is announced every Wednesday during the
2006 indoor track season.
The 11-member league headquartered in Macon, Ga., consists of Belmont, Campbell,
ETSU, Florida Atlantic, Gardner-Webb, Jacksonville, Kennesaw State, Lipscomb,
Mercer, North Florida and Stetson.
