Lady Bisons Set Team Record at Troy Invitational
Date Posted: 10/31/2006 MONTGOMERY, Ala. - The Lady Bisons golf team set a new school record for one round with a 311 in the second round of the Troy Women's Invitational Tuesday at Arrowhead Country Club in Montgomery, Ala. The previous best round for the team was a 314. The Lady Bisons finished 12th in the tournament. Four of the five members of the team shot under 80 in the second round. Brie Rowden was the top finisher for the Lady Bisons, shooting a team-low 75 in the second round for a two-round total of 156. She finished in a tie for 32nd place. Ashlee Catlin, who was the only Lady Bisons player to shoot in the 70s in the first round with a 77, fired a second round 82 to finish in a t ie for 48th.
