MACON, Ga. -- UNF's Sarah Coghlan earns her second Atlantic Sun Runner of the
Week award this season while setting a new personal best. Coghlan led the Lady
Ospreys to an eighth place finish and shaved nearly 40 seconds from her previous
personal best set last week.
The senior finished the 5K at the Auburn Invitational in a time of 17:14.52,
a minute behind the first place finisher. Coghlan placed eighth out of 194 runners.
She continues to hold the best time in the A-Sun. Coghlan is a native of Christchurch,
New Zealand and is majoring in Graphic Design.
The Ospreys will be back in action Oct. 7 when they compete in the FSU Invitational.
The Atlantic Sun Conference announces the Athlete of the Week every Wednesday
during the 2006 cross country season.
The 10-member league headquartered in Macon, Ga., includes Belmont, Campbell,
ETSU, Gardner-Webb, Jacksonville, Kennesaw State, Lipscomb, Mercer, North Florida
and Stetson, with Florida Gulf Coast and USC Upstate to compete in 2007.
