Lady Bison Charge on in #ASunXC Coaches Poll

MACON, Ga. - Lipscomb continues to dominate the Atlantic Sun Women's Cross Country Coaches Poll with unanimous first-pace in this week's edition of the poll.

The Bisons are holding steady at No. 4 in in the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association regional rankings. LU competed in the Notre Dame Invite last weekend with seven nationally ranked squads as freshman Sally Larson paced the Bisons with a 27th -place finish out of 198 harriers.

North Florida received second-place in the A-Sun Coaches Poll with 88 points for the third week in a row.

Alessandra Valdes led the Ospreys to a third-place victory at the Charlotte Invitational on September 28th. Valdes collected A-Sun Runner of the Week Honors (10/2) for her performance and became the first women's cross country runner at UNF to earn the honor since head coach Jeff Pigg has been at the helm.

Jacksonville landed the third-place spot in the A-Sun Coaches Poll with 73 points, while ETSU came in at No. 4 with 70 points. FGCU rounded off the top-five in the poll with 53 points.
