Monday, September 27, 2010

NEW ORLEANS, La. – With only Stetson in action over the weekend, the Atlantic Sun Conference saw little fluctuation in the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) regional rankings. Kennesaw State remained the top ranked A-Sun men’s team in 11th place in the south region, while Jacksonville stayed put at their sixth place ranking in the women’s south region poll.

On the men’s side, Belmont and Lipscomb didn't change from their 12th and 15th place rankings, while UNF’s and Lipscomb’s women’s squads fell one place each to ninth and tenth respectively, after UAB jumped ahead of both of the squads.

This is the second time that a total of six teams from the A-Sun have been ranked in the regional poll and second-consecutive week. The USTFCCCA poll has been conducted for four weeks.
