CSS Doubleheader Highlights Women's Weekend Slate

MACON, Ga. - A pair of Atlantic Sun Conference women"s match-ups highlight Saturday’s action on the hardwood in a special Saturday matinee airing of the CSS Game of the Week. USC Upstate and Campbell tip things off in Buies Creek at noon with FGCU traveling to Jacksonville to cap the double-dip in a 2 p.m. start.
Jacksonville entertains the league leading FGCU Eagles in the second game of Saturday’s CSS doubleheader. The Dolphins enter the week winners of three straight, and are looking to improve their position for next month’s Atlantic Sun Champonship. FGCU is riding a 12-game winning streak and hopes to secure its second straight WNIT bid.
USC Upstate travels to Buies Creek to pay visit to Campbell’s brand new John W. Pope Convocation Center Saturday afternoon. Both teams are trying ot get back on the winning track, as the Spartans fell in four of their last fi ve games and Campbell has dropped seven of its last eight.
