MACON, Ga. - FGCU moved into sole possession of first place over the weekend, avenging an early-season loss to ETSU and keeping alive its hopes for a second-straight trip to the WNIT. Junior forward Chelsea Lyles paced the Eagles to the undefeated week that extended their winning streak to 10 games, and on Monday she earned the first Player of the Week honor of her career the conference office announced.

Lyles averaged 14.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.5 steals, and 1.0 blocks in FGCU's two games. The Colorado Springs, Colo. native also shot 50 percent from the field and 83.3 percent from the charity stripe. In FGCU's 102-53 win against USC Upstate, Lyles scored 12 points and grabbed five boards. She shot 5-of-8 from the field and 2-of-4 from behind the arc. In FGCU's victory over ETSU on Saturday that moved the Eagles into first place in the conference, the communications major scored a team-high 17 points, grabbed seven boards, and dished six assists.

Kendra Wallace, USC Upstate G - Hurricane, W.Va. - Fr. - Undeclared) - Scored 19 points and played all 45 minutes as Upstate went to overtime against Virginia Tech, and posted 23 points in the Spartans victory against Stetson.

Siarre Evans, ETSU (G/F - Griffin, Ga. - Jr. - Sport Management) - Evans enjoyed a monstrous week as the Griffin, Ga. native averaged 17 points and 12.5 rebounds in 30.5 minutes of work. Evans shot 50 percent from the floor in the two games (15-for-30) and also averaged 2.5 steals and 2 assists.

Natasha Doh, Mercer (G - Oklahoma City, Okla. - Sr. - Communications) - The Oklahoma City native did not shoot below 50.0 percent in any of the Bears three games, ending the week with a .560 shooting percentage from the backcourt.
