Buies Creek, NC -- Gardner-Webb won for the fifth time in as many games with
a 66-54 victory over Campbell on Tuesday night.
Laura Povilonyte led the way for GWU with 11 points and 12 rebounds in 25 minutes
of action for the second double-double of her career and Brittany Harmon turned
in another strong effort in the post with eight points and 11 rebounds. Smith
led the way on the glass however with a game-high 13 boards as Gardner-Webb dominated
the battle of the boards, 53-38.
Campbell was paced by Adrienne Rieley's 14 points and Lodge's 12-point, eight
board performance but could not overcome the 15 rebound deficit.
