Chelseas Dermyer earned her first career Player of the Week honor Monday afternoon.

MACON, Ga. – Florida Gulf Coast senior Chelsea Dermyer scored a season-high 20 points against Central Florida last week, leading the Eagles to their biggest victory as a Division I program, and on Monday the conference office named her its Player of the Week for the first time.
The Fort Collins, Colo. native scored a season-high 20 points and posted career-highs in rebounds (6) and steals (6) in FGCU's 81-75 upset of UCF. Dermyer was one of five Eagles to score in double-figures, shooting 6-of-9 (66.7 percent) from the field and 2-of-4 (50 percent) from long range. The finance major also added six points from the free throw line, shooting 6-of-7. In the Eagles 78-52 loss to Florida, Dermyer scored 14 points and four rebounds.
