Brittany Harmon tallied 16 blocks in two games last week.

Macon, Ga. – Two dazzling performances cap off the past week as Gardner-Webb's Brittany Harmon and Jacksonville's DaVina Hamilton each earned Atlantic Sun Player of the Week honors Monday as announced by the conference office.

Harmon had a great week, nearly pulling off triple-doubles in games against Stetson and Mercer. The senior forward averaged 9.5 points, 12 rebounds and eight blocks per game, including a record-setting nine blocks against the Hatters. Harmon scored 11 points and had 12 rebounds in the 61-47 victory. The win also made number 300 for head coach Rick Reeves.

In the win over Mercer, Harmon had eight points, 12 rebounds and seven blocks in 26 minutes of play. This marks the Virginia Beach, Va. native's second career Player of the Week award. She is majoring in biology.

Earning her first Player of the Week award, Hamilton averaged 17 points, two rebounds, three steals and three assists per game in conference action against ETSU and Kennesaw State.

The sophomore guard helped the Dolphins set program records for consecutive home wins (8) and conference wins (10) with a 2-0 record last week. Against second-place ETSU, Hamilton finished with 13 points, three assists, no turnovers and a game-high four steals including the game clinching steal in ETSU's final possesion to give the Dolphins an 83-79 win.

Against KSU, the Miami, Fla. native scored a career-high 21 points, 17 of which came in the second half, three assists and two steals for a 74-57 win. She finished 9-of-15 from the floor, including a career-best 3-of-4 from beyond the arc. Hamilton is majoring in communications.

Other Top Performers

Alysha Clark, BEL (So. - F - Mt. Juliet, Tenn. - Undeclared) -- Clark scored her 1,000th career point in Belmont's only contest last week against Lipscomb. She had a game high 20 points and fell just one rebound short of collecting her 15th double-double of the season.

Marlena Murphy, CAM (Jr. - F - Fayetteville, N.C. - Psychology) -- Murphy averaged 14.5 points and 9.5 rebounds per game leading Campbell to its first weekend sweep of the season and lifting it two spots in the A-Sun standings.

Siarre Evans, ETSU (Fr. - G - Griffin, Ga. - Sports Management) -- Evans averaged 17 points and four rebounds in the two games against JU and UNF.

Stephanie Scearce, KSU (So. - C - Blue Ridge, Ga. - Communications) -- Scearce shot 66.7% from the field (12-for-18) as the Lady Owls split a pair of games.

Rhonda Owens, MER (Sr. - G - Endicott, N.Y. - Political Science) -- Owens averaged 12.5 ppg and 7.0 rpg while posting a double-double against Gardner-Webb.

Janene Maclin, STET (Sr. - F - Chicago, Ill. - Business Management) -- Maclin recorded her 1000th career point in a match-up at Gardner-Webb on February 15. Maclin led the team with 17 points and seven rebounds as well as three steals.
