MACON, Ga. – The Atlantic Sun Conference and Streamline Technologies debuted a re-designed AtlanticSun.org on Monday, continuing a seven-year partnership between the entities.

The fresh look takes advantage of a variety of the most current trends in online communication. Among the first features noticed by a visitor will be the integration of member institution Twitter messages in a scrolling crawl just below the top banner. Additionally, RSS feeds from each institution will be utilized on sport pages to provide the latest news from around campus. Embedded video will be featured throughout the year as the conference grows its multimedia platform.

"An attractive, dynamic web site is essential to the promotion and communication needs of our institutions, our teams, and our fans," said A-Sun Commissioner Ted Gumbart. "We are excited to introduce a new look and are proud to partner with Streamline Technologies to be able to bring new technology and interactive features that fit in today's internet marketplace."

The launch culminated the 12-week project.

“We are very excited to continue our relationship with the Atlantic Sun Conference and look forward to delivering the latest technologies to make the site as informative and functional across all platforms as possible. We hope Atlantic Sun fans enjoy all the news and event coverage from around the conference,” said Alex Short, owner of Streamline Technologies.

A second phase of web development will continue over the coming months highlighted by a new mobile site customized for smartphones as well as the debut of the A-Sun’s first app which will feature a live scoreboard for a variety of events between conference foes.
