MACON, Ga. - Stetson senior Andrea Migliori was the centerpiece of the Hatters’ success over a week that saw them capture the crown at the Stetson Invitational. She hit .455 and drove home 10 runs to help lead Stetson to a 4-2 record on the week, and her first A-Sun Player of the Week award in 2008. Inside the circle, Kennesaw State's Brittany Mathews posted a 3-0 record while reaching double-digit strikeouts in each outing on her way to her second A-Sun Pitcher of the Week award, the conference announced Monday.
An accounting major from Winter Garden, Fla., Migliori had two clutch performances against Maine at the Stetson Invitational. On Friday night she went deep twice, with the second coming in the form of a walk-off in the bottom of the ninth to give the Hatters an 8-7 victory. The next day, Migliori continued her assault on the Black Bears' pitching staff. She went 4-4 with a career-high six RBI, ensuring the Hatters would have more breathing room than the previous day in a 12-1 victory. Migliori added three doubles to her two home runs and slugged .864 on the week. She also moved into ninth place in school history for career hits, reaching the 150-hit plateau.
A native of Brooks, Ga., Mathews was brilliant in her three games as the Owls' hurler. The professional sales major went the distance in each of her three appearances, the last of which was a nine inning, 7-3 victory over Georgia State to clinch the championship at the Georgia State Spring Showdown. Her first win of the week came against Jacksonville state, as she struck out 16 batters in a 5-3 victory on Wednesday. She then silenced Evansville on Saturday, mowing down 13 batters in a 7-2 win. All in all, Mathews posted a 1.52 ERA and struck out 40 batters during the week.

Amanda Lindsey, STET (So. - P - Byhalia, Miss. - Biology) - Lindsey went 3-1 on the week and didn’t allow an earned run. On Friday she tossed a three-hitter against Western Michigan and tied a career high with nine strikeouts. On Sunday she threw a two-hitter and struck out eight against Albany.
Amanda Littlejohn, CAM (So. - C - Lake Elsinore, Calif. - Education) - Littlejohn led the Camels to a 5-1 record on the week by hitting .579 with one homer, two doubles and nine RBI, scoring four times. At the Santa Clara Bronco Classic, she went 9-for-13 at the dish for a .692 average, grabbing five RBI en route to a 3-1 mark.
Jessie Hackworth, ETSU (Jr. - 3B - Clinton, Tenn. - Sport Management) - Hackworth hit .375 with seven RBI and a double at the College of Charleston Tournament. Went 4-4 against Marist and executed a suicide squeeze to bring home the winning run in a 3-2 victory over UNC-Wilmington.
Devyn Findley, UNF (So. - P - Gainesville, Fla. - Community Health) - Findley went 2-0 on the week in addition to picking up a save while posting an ERA of 0.00. She struck out 13 batters in 16 innings of work while allowing two unearned runs.
Jessica Cross, KSU (Fr. - 3B/P - Tunnel Hill, Ga. - Undeclared) - Cross hit .438 with six RBI and one long ball while leading Kennesaw State to a 4-1 record on the week.
Brittany Stanley, CAM (So. - P - West Lafayette, Ind. - Undeclared) - Stanley went 3-0 on the week with three complete games and two shutouts while compiling a 1.35 ERA. She struck out 21 batters and notched a save. She registered a career-high 11 strikeouts Tuesday against Winston-Salem State. Also did well at the plate, hitting .417 with six RBI and three home runs.
