Atlantic Sun Issues Statement Regarding Florida Gulf Coast at Gardner-Webb Men's Basketball Game

MACON, Ga. - The Atlantic Sun issued two letters of commendation and of three letters of reprimand following the events at the end of the Florida Gulf Coast at Gardner-Webb men's basketball game on January 26.
Florida Gulf Coast's Terike Barrowes and Gardner's Webb's Brandon Jackson and Nate Blank each earned letters of reprimand for their actions at the conclusion the game. The two head coaches, Florida Gulf Coast's Dave Balza and Gardner-Webb's Rick Scruggs received letters of commendation for not allowing the incident to escalate.
