JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Mike Munch announced on Monday that he is stepping down
as head women's soccer coach at the University of North Florida to pursue other
professional opportunities.
Munch has served as the Lady Ospreys' head coach for the last nine seasons
and has led the program to unprecedented success during that time. He has a
116-52-10 career record at UNF, making him the winningest coach in school history.
His teams have advanced to four NCAA Regional appearances, winning regional
titles in three of those postseason trips. UNF also captured the regular-season
Peach Belt Conference title in 2000 and Peach Belt tournament championships
in 2000 and 2004 under Munch.
