Associate Commissioner/Senior Woman Administrator

Booker began her term with the A-Sun in January 1994. She first joined the conference staff as an Administrative Assistant and was promoted to Assistant Commissioner in 1997 and then to Associate Commissioner in 2004. She also serves as the conference Senior Woman Administrator.

Booker is currently serving as the A-Sun representative to the NCAA Championships/Competition Cabinet and is a member of the Bracket/Format Subcommittee and the Awards/Travel Policies/Bylaw 16 Subcommittee. In addition to her subcommittee work, Booker also serves as the Cabinet liaison to the Division I Women’s Softball Committee.

Her duties within the conference include working as the administrator of numerous conference championships and serving as the liaison to various officiating programs, conference administrative committees and coaches advisory committees. She also works closely with the A-Sun Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and assists in the administration of the NCAA Special Assistance Fund (SAF) and Student-Athlete Opportunity Fund (SAOF) programs. Prior to joining the A-Sun, Booker was employed in the Austin Peay State University athletics department.

The Tennessee native earned her undergraduate degree (B.S. Education) at Austin Peay State University and completed her Masters Degree at Georgia College and State University (Administration and Supervision, 1996).
