John Roberts joined as the Atlantic Sun Conference as its Director of Sports Services in August 2007.

No stranger to the A-Sun, Roberts spent the past two seasons as the Assistant Director for Media Relations at conference member East Tennessee State University. During his tenure with the Buccaneers Roberts served as the primary contact for baseball, cross country/track & field and volleyball, as well as providing support for men's and women's basketball. He served as the sports information contact when ETSU hosted the 2006 Atlantic Sun Indoor Track & Field Championships, and headed up all statistical efforts at the 2006 and 2007 Men's Basketball Championships.

Prior to his time at ETSU, Roberts spent one year as Sports Media Relations Intern at James Madison University. While at JMU, he served as the primary contact for eight winter and spring sports, and worked closely with the football team during the Dukes' 2004 Division I-AA national championship season.

Hailing from Valdosta, Ga., Roberts attended the University of Georgia, graduating in the summer of 2004 with a bachelor's degree in religion. While at Georgia, he worked as a student assistant in the sports communications department.
