Jeff Symonds comes to the Atlantic Sun Conference after spending a year at Miami (OH) University as an Assistant Media Relations Director. While at Miami, Symonds handled all media responsibilities for women's soccer, the nationally ranked ice hockey program and baseball.

Before heading to Miami, Symonds spent three years at the Ohio State University. At Ohio State, he was the media contact for men’s and women's cross country, men's and women's track and field as well as assisting with men’s and women's lacrosse, baseball, softball, ice hockey and the nationally ranked football team.

In the past five years, Symonds has worked seven different NCAA Championships including the 2009 NCAA Men's Ice Hockey national title game. Symonds is a native of Medina, Ohio and has a brother (Tom) who works as a Sports Information Director at the University of Rhode Island.
