Furman got things going in the bottom of the first as the Paladins grabbed a 1-0 lead on a Reese Wade RBI single.

The Bucs got on the board in the top of the third as Reeder singled in Corey McPherson (Johnson City, Tenn.) from second. Hoilman gave ETSU a 4-1 lead in the next at-bat on his eighth home run of the season as he crushed a 3-1 pitch over the fence in left for a three-run homer.
