MACON, Ga. - Despite falling behind by 21 in the first half, Adnan Hodzic led the comeback as he scored 17 of his 19 points over the final 21 minutes of play leading Lipscomb past Indiana. For his effort, the sophomore earned his first Player of the Week award, the conference office announced on Tuesday.

It was a win for the ages for Lipscomb and the Indiana product delivered for the Bisons down the stretch. Hodzic, a native of Sarajevo, Bosnia, but who played in high school at North Central High School in Indianapolis, scored 10 of his 19 points in the final 6:23. He did not miss from the floor or from the free-throw line in the final nine minutes. Layups on back-to-back possessions with 2:21 and 1:34 remaining put the Bisons up by four for their largest lead since posting a five point lead at the 16:35 mark in the first half. Hodzic added five rebounds in 27 minutes of play.

The win capped the magnificent month for Hodzic. He averaged 17.6 points and 9.1 rebounds on 58.7 percent shooting and 71.4 percent from the free-throw line in December. For the season, he ranks among the A-Sun leaders in scoring (seventh, 14.5 ppg), rebounding (7.5 rpg) while leading in field goal percentage at 57.5 percent. Over the last calendar year, Hodzic has averaged 12.8 points per game, 6.3 rebounds per game and connected on 59.3 percent of his shots as he builds on his freshman campaign during which he averaged 8.9 points per game and also led the conference in field goal percentage at 58.8 percent.

For the year, the redshirt freshman has started in 10 of 11 games for the Bucs, and is averaging 5.1 points, 4.1 rebounds and 20.2 minutes a game.

Ben Smith, Jacksonville (Jr. - G - Dublin, Ga. - Sports Administration) -- Scored a game-high 19 points with six assists and four steals in the Dolphins 86-73 win over former A-Sun powerhouse Troy...hit 5-of-7 from behind the arc and 7-of-12 from the floor in 37 minutes of action...the win snapped JU's seven-game losing streak in conference play and an eight-game losing streak to the Trojans.
