MACON, Ga. – Lipscomb picked up its first win of the season on Friday night and in the process claimed the program's first Atlantic Sun Men's Tennis Player of the Week honor as Stuart Tierney received the accolades.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
Stuart Tierney, Lipscomb (So. – Hillsboro, Oregon – Accounting)
  • First Career A-Sun Player of the Week honor; program's first honor
  • Helped Bisons to season's first victory with 4-3 triumph vs. Abilene Christian
  • Won at No. 4 singles; 6-2, 6-2, vs. Abilene Christian
  • Added win at No. 2 doubles with Miguel Cortez with score of 8-6
OTHER NOMINEES:
  • Daniel Sotomarino (Sr., North Florida) - Guided Ospreys to 4-3 win vs. No. 75 UL-Lafayette by claiming victory at No. 2 singles
  • Louis Theodor (So., Kennesaw State) - Went 2-0 at No.1 doubles with playing partner, Tobi Menhofer
