Johnson City, Tenn. - Not to be outdone by the Lady Bucs, the top-seeded ETSU men cruised to a 4-0 win over No. 5 seed Jacksonville and advanced to the Men's Championship Match.

ETSU's Enrique Olivares and Sebastian Serrano took out Victor Vaz and Jordi Ballester 8-2 in No. 2 doubles. Daniel Isaza and Lisandro Picardo won No. 3 doubles for the Bucs, beating Marcos Oliveira and Vinicius Craviero 8-3.

Alex Ahlgren of ETSU was the first singles player off the court, tallying a 6-0, 6-1 win over Belmont's Vinicius Craveiro. It didn't take much longer for ETSU to clinch the semifinals match. ETSU's Enrique Olivares knocked off Francisco Riveroll in No. 2 singles, 6-2. 6-4, and Sebastian Serrano eased past Victor Vaz 6-1, 6-0.

The final score was 4-0, but that hardly tells the tale of this match. The three singles matches that did not finish were all in the middle of third sets. Joey Jones of Stetson clinched the match for the Hatters with a 7-5, 6-1 victory over Ignacio Gesto. A-Sun Player of the Year, Stetson's Hicham Laalej, knocked off Alex Gillott in a heated match 6-3, 6-4. Danai Stamp was victorious in the other singles match decided. Stetson's Stamp zoomed past Zach Zola 6-3, 6-0.

Stetson's Marcus Echtler and Filip Kricka took No. 1 doubles, 8-6, over Fausto Rocha and Javier Rodriguez of Belmont. Hicham Laalej and Peter Dzuba beat Felipe Abreu and Zach Zola, 8-3, to capture the doubles point.

No. 2 Stetson will meet No. 1 ETSU in Sunday's Championship match at 1:00 p.m
