ETSU Sweeps A-Sun Men's Soccer Awards After Three Wins

MACON, Ga. – Three wins for ETSU earned David Geno and Ryan Coulter earned the Buccaneers duo the Atlantic Sun Men's Soccer weekly awards, announced Monday by the league office. Geno netted three goals on the week with two game-winners, while Coulter recorded two shutouts including a 1-0 win vs. No. 17 UAB in double overtime.

  • Scored three goals on the week with two game-winners
  • Netted two goals in 3-1 win vs. regionally-ranked UNC Greensboro
  • Added game-winning goal in 1-0 double overtime win vs. No. 17 UAB
  • Leads the A-Sun with seven points on the season
  • William Morse (F, FGCU) - Tallied game-winner in 106th minute of 2-1 match vs. Bucknell
  • Casey Caronis (F, North Florida) - Scored one goal on the weekend in 1-0 win vs. Florida Atlantic
  • Omar Djabi (D, Lipscomb) - Won the match vs. Central Arkansas with goal in 81st minute
  • Will Betts (MF, Mercer) - Netted two goals on the week in win vs. Nebraska-Omaha and tie vs. Hartwick

  • Third Career A-Sun Defensive Player of the Week honor; first this season
  • Picked up three wins on the week with two shutouts
  • Made 15 total saves including seven in 3-1 win vs. regionally-ranked UNCG
  • Recorded five saves in 1-0 double-overtime win vs. No. 17 UAB
  • Added three saves in 1-0 win vs. Presbyterian
  • Brad Sienkiewicz, North Fla. (GK, North Florida) - Earned a 1-0 shutout win vs. Florida Atlantic with 14 total saves in two matches
  • John Schnurbusch (GK, Lipscomb) - Posted a shutout win vs. Central Arkansas with five saves
  • Joey Heavner (D, Mercer) - Dished out two assists in 2-0 win vs. Nebraska-Omaha and scored vs. Hartwick
