MACON, Ga, - For the fifth time in six years, two A-Sun men's golf programs have advanced to Regional play as league champion UNF along with ETSU will play in the East Regional in Chattanooga, Tenn., starting on May 15.
ETSU has history from Chattanooga when they enjoyed a third-place finish in the NCAA Championships at the Honors Course. UNF is back in the NCAAs for the first time since making four straight appearances from 1999-2002.
The 21st-ranked Bucs, led by the nation’s 11th-ranked player and Atlantic Sun Conference individual champion Gareth Shaw have been seeded seventh in the NCAA East Regional field while the Ospreys own the 15th seed. Teams in the East Regional will compete May 15-17 at the Council Fire Golf Club in Chattanooga.
