MACON, Ga. - Lipscomb freshman Mikey Feher fired a three-round total of 211 (-5) to tie for fourth and lead the Bisons in the F&M APSU Intercollegiate to earn the #ASunMGolf Player of the Week honor as announced by the league office on Wednesday.
Feher began the tournament with a pair of under-par rounds, including a season- and career-low of 67 in the first round, and was in third place following the second round. He concluded the event with a 74 for his 211 and fourth-place finish. He has now lowered his stroke average to 71.7 after nine rounds on the year to lead team.
Feher was also one of three freshmen who led Lipscomb in the event, as each of the trio that included Syndey Chung (218) and Stoney Crouch (222) finished inside the top 42.
The finish is Feher's third top-10 finish of the fall.
