Chattanooga, Tenn. –The Mercer men’s golf team fired a final round 281 en route to their runner-up finish at Valleybrook Golf and Country Club on Tuesday. The Bears played consistently throughout the tournament as seven of their fifteen individual rounds were at even par or better.
Andrew An led Mercer shooting a final round, one under par 70, good for a ninth place tie. Brandan Price finished tied for 12th and Michael Gregory added another top-20 finish for the Bears.
Host Tennessee-Chattanooga won the invitational with a three-round total of 837.
