MACON, Ga. – North Florida's Sean Dale captured his third Atlantic Sun Men's Golf Player of the Week award this season as he fired a nine-under-par, 207, to win the Amelia National Intercollegiate and lead the Ospreys to the second team title of the season.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Sean Dale, North Florida (Jr. – Jacksonville, Fla. – Public Relations) • Fourth Career A-Sun Golfer of the Week honor; third this season • Won the Amelia National Intercollegiate individual medalist title; his second career win • Matched tournament low with a second round, 67 (-5), for three sub-par rounds • Lowered season scoring average to 70.92 OTHER NOMINEES: • Alex Medinis, FGCU: Led Eagles to Stetson Invitational title with third-place finish • Sam Ryder, Stetson: Claimed individual medalist honors with tournament record, 207, at Stetson Invitational|
