Macon, Ga. - ETSU rookie Jordan Ladd (Lyn, ONT./Undeclared) was named Atlantic
Sun Runner of the Week today by the conference office.
Ladd led the Bucs team with to an 5th place showing in a field of 23 teams at
the Furman Invitational last weekend. ETSU was the top A-Sun finisher in a field
of 23 teams that included Campbell and Gardner-Webb. He finished the 8K in a
time of 26:46.28, good for a 12th-place finish. This is the first time this
season Ladd has finished first for the Bucs and helped team to a fifth-place
finish out of 23 teams, topping all other Atlantic Sun
The Bucs will be back in action on Oct. 29 as Campbell hosts the 2005 Atlantic
Sun Cross Country Championships.
The Atlantic Sun Runner of the Week is announced every Wednesday during the 2005
cross country season.
The 11-member league headquartered in Macon, Ga., consists of Belmont, Campbell,
ETSU, Florida Atlantic, Gardner-Webb, Jacksonville, Kennesaw State, Lipscomb,
Mercer, North Florida and Stetson.
