ETSU Gets Top-Mark in Men's #ASunXC Coaches Poll

MACON, Ga. - ETSU stands in the top spot in the Atlantic Sun Men's Cross Country Coaches Poll with five first-place votes. The Buccaneers secured 92 total points in the poll to remain in first-place.

Lipscomb was tabbed as No. 2 with four first-place votes and 87 points.

The Bucs and the Bisons are both moved up the ranks in the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Regional Poll.

LU edged out ETSU in the regional ranks with a fifth place rank in the South region, while the Bucs came in at No. 8 in the South.

Filip Jalovy returned to the Buccaneer's squad to lead the pack at the Greater Louisville Classic last weekend. Jalovy finished 21st out of 163 runners.

LU competed in the Notre Dame Invite with eight nationally ranked competitors.

North Florida secure third-place in the coaches poll with 71 points, while FGCU bumped up to No. 4 with 67 points.

USC Upstate closed off the top-five with 62 points in the poll. Northern Kentucky continues to improve to sit at No. 6 in the poll with 52 points.

The Norse are led by J.J. Webber who has collected three A-Sun Runner of the Week Honors this season.
