A-Sun Title Goes Down to the Wire - The City Paper

Nashville will be the center of the Atlantic Sun basketball universe this weekend as it hosts four games featuring three teams vying for the conference championship.
Two of those teams are boulevard rivals Belmont and Lipscomb, whose coaches agree this weekend’s games at the Curb Event Center and Allen Arena are as big as any the programs have hosted since making the leap to Division I basketball.
Belmont hosts Kennesaw State tonight, while the Bisons host East Tennessee State. Then on Sunday the two teams flip-flop opponents.
Belmont and Lipscomb are tied for first place with a league mark of 13-5. ETSU is one of three teams a game back at 12-6.
That means the Bruins, Bisons and Buccaneers all control their own fate as to whether they will get at least a share of the regular season title.
