BOSTON - Off to their best 11-game start as a Division I school, the Belmont Bruins find themselves back in the Mid-Major Top 25, checking in at No. 20.

The Bruins moved into the top 25 after recording wins against Kennesaw State, at Troy and at Alabama State. Their 9-2 start represents their best 11-game start since 1996-97. Belmont's previous best start came in 2003-04 when, bolstered by wins against Air Force and Missouri, the Bruins started 8-3.

Belmont represents the first Atlantic Sun school to break into the top 25 since ETSU checked in at No. 24 in the Feb. 9, 2009 poll. Two other conference teams received votes in Monday's poll. Lipscomb received 26 votes and Jacksonville earned 10. This week's CollegeInsider. Mid-Major Top 25 did not factor in Jacksonville's win at nationally-ranked Florida.
