Freshman Joe Guarnaccia led off the inning with a single down the left field line. Josh Upchurch (Cape Coral, Fla.) laid down a sacrifice bunt and reached on a fielding error by the Hatters reliever Robbie Powell. With runners on first and second and nobody out, Mikel Alvarez (West Palm Beach, Fla.) laid down another sacrifice bunt.
