DES MOINES, Iowa - Belmont's Lynette Rives ran well enough Thursday to advance out of the First Round of the women's 200-meter dash at the 2008 NCAA Track & Field Championships, but could go no further as she ended her season with a 14th place finish in the semifinals at Drake Stadium in Des Moines.
In the preliminary round, Rives competed in the fourth heat, placing third in a time of 23.61.
