MACON, Ga. - Atlantic Sun Conference schools are participating in a national competition to "Pack the House" at a selected home game from January 1 to February 17. NCAA member schools will compete against schools in their own conference as well as all Division I schools for a chance to be the 2008 NCAA Women's Basketball Pack the House Challenge Champion and win great prizes.

All 12 Atlantic Sun members selected a planned promotion between January 1 and February 17 and designated it as a "Pack the House" game with the goal of setting an attendance record. The Pack the House Challenge may also serve as a stand alone promotion for one selected home game.

The “Pack the House” initiative is part of the continuing effort to grow the sport of women's basketball by building upon past successes and preparing for the next generation of women's college basketball players and fans. This is an opportunity to further develop national grassroots programs aimed at increasing attendance and awareness.
